Steam coal

Steam coal is a grade between bituminous coal and anthracite, once widely used as a fuel for steam locomotives. In this specialized use, it is sometimes known as “sea-coal” in the US. Now steam coal (or thermal coal) is mainly used in power generation.

We can supply various grades of steam coal with minimum GCV (gross calorific value) of 5,600Kcal/kg carried by break bulks of 10,000MT to 40,000MT as per customer’s request and unloading capacity.
